JCDesign collaborated with KD Decoratives to create design drawings for multiple bows and wreaths, which they installed around Covent Garden during Christmas in 2017.
KD Decoratives teamed up with a creative design company to finalize the aesthetics and organize the installation for these decorations. Sculptivate, (sculptivate.co.uk) a London-based company, worked with KD to bring their concepts to life.
JCDesign received the concepts and provided manufacturable solutions that the KD Decoratives installation team could easily assemble. They mounted a test bow concept outside the KD offices before traveling to London to replicate the installation on three different streets.
JCDesign also provided production drawings and a method for fixture for a few smaller wreaths, which were much easier to manage.
Working in conjunction with Sculptivate, the team presented the technical aspects to the end customer for sign-off. The installation team then erected a test bow at KD Decoratives HQ, allowing them to go through the lifting plan and assembly. This process helped the installation team become completely familiar with the order of works.
